Why is it that no-one knows who actually got interviewed for the Warren AD/HC job. Rumor has it that Mark Williams was offered the job before any interviews were even done. Now rumor has it that John Woodard of Ganado is going to be named AD/HC. Yet John Woodard is not even on the applicant list posted by the Beaumont Enterprise. DC at Ganado for 2 seasons with a good record, but previous job was as HC at Union Hill where he lost miserably(4-16). Prior to that he was at Mount Pleasant with Warrens suoerintendent. WHO ACTUALLY RECIEVED AN INTERVIEW???????????

Not sure why Woodards name was not listed in the Beaumont Enterprise. Williams was interviewed as well as Woodard, a coach from Vidor, a coach from Lumberton, and an ex-coach from West Hardin.  More than the supt was on the interview team. Woodard might have interviewed the best.  Union Hill record for the two years after Woodard left was only four wins as well.  Sounds like it was not neccessarily coaching.  If Woodard is named, lets just please support him.

[/quote] I didn't realize there was a hiring team put together....who was on the team? I agree with you though... regardless he was hired so now it's time to support him and hopefully he is the one to get us to where we all want to be....competitive!

Support is always a good thing....coupled with reality.....Warren is not loaded with talent year in and year out...in fact...more years of NOT....It will be hard to expect any AD/HC to win consistantly....Been there, been a part of it....

I am all for supporting Coach Woodard and his staff. I especially feel that we should support the kids at Warren. They are athletes giving it all they have every day at practice and friday night. I respect the kids that go out and participate every week even though they may not be the most talented players on the field. It shows alot of courage to play at a school that rarely has a successful season. People may not respect them for their football talent, but they have to respect their COURAGE. I have alot more respect for the ones who continue to represent the Warren community on the field, than I do those who choose not to because of a poor record. It is hard to change that record if talented athletes refuse to play. So Warren boys go out and give Coach Woodard and your friends who have decided to play a fighting chance.
