The Silsbee Tigers will play host to the Bridge City Cardinals in 21-3A district action, TONIGHT at the Tiger Diamond, 7pm start time. Bridge City (16-2, 6-0) #2 in this weeks SETX polls, defeated Silsbee Wednesday night, 6-0, to break the tie and sit alone a top the district standings. Silsbee (16-5, 5-1) #3 in the SETX poll, suffered their first district loss and look to regain that tie with the Cards at the top of the district. These two teams split their district games last season.

Our broadcast time will start 10 minutes prior to the first pitch which is scheduled for 7pm.

Not going to predict a score but IMHO I don't see it being lopsided either way. Look for a well played low scoring game. Manufacturing runs will be important because both starting pitchers do a good job of getting ahead in counts and keeping the ball down. Should be a great atmosphere. Silsbee is always a tough place for out of town teams to play, great fan support over there. Hope its cleanly decided on the field for either team.
