badndn Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 Looks to me like they are going to have to expand that league down south or the Sugar Land Skeeters are gonna go broke real quick!
ForeverADog Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 I agree. That doesn't make much sense.
AshlyHasBeen Posted April 17, 2012 Author Report Posted April 17, 2012 I agree, the American Association would've made more sense. 13 team league with one division of just Texas teams. Former Lamar pitcher Derrick Gordon is on the Skeeters roster.
badndn Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 With that facility maybe SL is positioning themselves for a future MiLB team like Frisco in the Dallas area. I could see the SL Skeeters in the Texas League with the CC Hooks in AAA and OKC elsewhere in the near future. Does Nolan still have part ownership of the CC franchise? If so then maybe CC moves into the Rangers org in the near future with SL the Stros AA and OKC remaining the Stros AAA.
AshlyHasBeen Posted April 18, 2012 Author Report Posted April 18, 2012 Ryan is still in the ownership group. Frisco is the AA team for the Rangers.
