With Coach Barbay at the helm, Jasper has the best chance in a few years to repeat the recent success under Coach Brooks and return to the program to the level set by Coach Walkoviak. This might be his equivalent to what Newton was for his dad. Find a place close to home, close to both sides of the family and keep putting quality squads out there year in and year out. Bulldog football players, get ready for some hardwork. Bulldog parents, let him coach, let him take your program where it needs to be, where it has been. Give him the time to set the groundwork. One of the best baseball coaches that Jasper ever had coached both baseball and football; and sent a few baseball players to the minor leagues, and at least two to the major leagues. Also made two trips to the state tournament, and numerous trips to QF. But since the current system seems to be working pretty well, no need to change that I see.
