Congratulations PNG.  With they way the Indians play defense its no wonder why they won district.  Incrediable catch by Bertrand to rob Fults of a base hit.

Good pitching by both teams.  Jayce Nelson went all the way for PNG.  Brandon Humphrey, Dillon Young and Alex Blem pitched for the Bears.

I think LCM actually outhit PNG 5-4 but timely hits is what's important.  Defensive errors gave up at least 2, maybe 3 unearned runs.

nelson pitched well for PNG , but the reason for the shut out and their success this year is their PLAY IN THE FIELD . The best defensive team in golden triangle !! in tonights game 5 plays alone saved additional bases and base runners . one of the most deflating situations in baseball is when opposing team robs yours of a base hit and tonight there were 4 of those alone . with outstanding play like that a pitcher can relax and pitch his game . congrats to PNG .
