Guest UHCoog14 Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 By far the biggest series this weekend. We will see how legit Bayor really is after winning 21 straight games.Should be worth the price of admission.
PhatMack19 Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 A&M probably has the advantage in pitching especially the first 2 games with Wacha and Stripling. Baylor has been putting up some runs and finding ways to win. Should be a great series.
Bear Country Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 I'll be at two of the three games. Making the trip north saturday to see the aggies. Hope they won't disappoint.
setxballfan Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 Should be good a series. Sic 'em Bears!

PhatMack19 Posted April 21, 2012 Report Posted April 21, 2012 You have to love Baylor's approach at the plate. They see a ton of pitches and make the pitchers work. I wish they kept a stat of the number of foul balls that the Bears have hit tonight. I can see why they have such a good hitting team and have won 21 games in a row. A&M can't feel too confident only being up 1 run with their bullpen into close.
PhatMack19 Posted April 21, 2012 Report Posted April 21, 2012 Baylor- BB, New Ags pitcher,A&M-Baylor 2 10 4A&M 3 7 2 mid 7

PhatMack19 Posted April 21, 2012 Report Posted April 21, 2012 That strikeout that reached on a passed ball was killer for A&M. You can't give good hitting teams 4 outs. Baylor brings in the closer in the 8th
PhatMack19 Posted April 21, 2012 Report Posted April 21, 2012 Baylor- K reaches on WP, single, pitcher #4 for A&M, rbi single ties it E7 advances runners, Int BB to load the bases, 2 run single runner thrown out taking 3rdA&M- HBP, 643 dp ends inningBaylor 5 13 4A&M 3 8 3 after 8

PhatMack19 Posted April 21, 2012 Report Posted April 21, 2012 Baylor has won 22 straight games and is now 16-0 in conference. They now have a 4 game lead on A&M and UT with both teams losing tonight.Baylor made a believer out of me tonight. They were very patient at the plate and had base runners in every inning. You do that consistenly and sooner or later you will score some runs. The Ags have now dropped 3 straight games, and will have to figure something out the next 2 days on the road in Waco.
Bear Country Posted April 21, 2012 Report Posted April 21, 2012 Baylor can hit, real scrappy team nothing special, lot of heart and good team work. Wacka didn't have his stuff going. A&M plain got out played.
