adminbaberuth Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 In 10 years around the campfire, at the beach or his son's t-ball game. "Dad did you ever hit a HR"? Well, keep this to yourself but against Lumberton one year, I struck out 16, no-hitter and topped it off with a Grandslam.

Eagle0011 Posted April 20, 2012 Report Posted April 20, 2012 Kid can flat out pitch, will always remember the outing he had last year in game 2 in the playoffs vs BH. Best HS performance I have seen by a pitcher.

And I know the fellas in the Eagle's dugout will talk about that for some time as well. Excellent pitcher !!!!

Great pitchers duel
Eagle0011 Posted April 21, 2012 Report Posted April 21, 2012 I'm sure both were great pitchers, I stated the best performance I had seen and I never saw the other 2 throw in a high school game. Brown in game 2 last year vs BH and Long on the mound for the Hill was a great pitchers dual, I think 28 or 29 Ks combined, Brown got the win and controlled the game from the 1st pitch.
NHS83LU87 Posted April 21, 2012 Report Posted April 21, 2012 I echo the entire thread's sentiments about Brett. He's a workhorse that sets the example for all the players around him but more important is how good a young man he is.....a true rflection of his parents and grandparents.

Maybe a bit after the first pitch .... Didn't Newcomb or King get a triple off of him in the 1st inning of that 2nd game?
BaseBow Posted May 2, 2012 Report Posted May 2, 2012 NO TRIPS IN THAT GAME AGAINST BROWN. ;D ;D ;D..Great job Brett I love you son...Way to go Jefferson & Nik on raising one great young man..
astrofan Posted May 2, 2012 Report Posted May 2, 2012 The Young Man is a True Athelete!! When you think of a Bulldog if you know him , you think of Brett!
