First one ever in Mets history.  That's surprising for a team that has been around for 50 years.  Beltran hit a double on the line in the 6th that the ump called foul, but people will forget about that soon enough.

Hard to believe with the likes of Gooden and Seaver and Ryan.

No hitter alert

Seattle has used 6 pitchers and taken no hitter into 9th against the Dodgers.
It's done, no hitter.

Tidbit....I noticed Lucas Luetge was one of the pitchers for Mariners. Seen Hamshire Fannett beat him in RD 3 of high school playoffs as he pitched for Bellville.

I am telling you I am getting so pissed off on how Astros have been playing

First the pitching. HORRIBLE, PATHETIC & SORRY!!
I cant tell you how many games this season I seen bases loaded no outs and in one inning we give up 3-5 runs. In one Inning!! The starting pitching is sorry!!

That was a neat game last night though

Daily Roundup 06/19/12
Posted on June 19, 2012 by youcantpredictbaseball

Joey Votto had an infield pop-up.
–He had one such out in 2011 and none at all in 2010.

Joel Peralta of the Rays was ejected before throwing a single pitch due to a foreign substance in his glove, something that comes with an automatic 10 game suspension.
–For you conspiracy theorists out there: Peralta used to play for the Nats’ Triple-A affiliate, which was managed by the team’s current first base coach at the time.
—-The Rays, of course, were playing the Nats.

Justin Verlander had three strike outs today…and four walks.

Via @uublog, Carlos Ruiz tied his career high in home runs (9) today.
–It’s only June 19th.

The Brewers sent 10 men to the plate in the bottom of the third.
–They had two hits that inning.

Via @sberthiuameespn/Steve Berthiuame, prior to this evening’s games, the Athletics led the American League in runs (90), on-base percentage (.346) and slugging percentage (.462) in the month of June.

Aroldis Chapman gave up a walk-off home run
