Jones/Evans fight sucked!

I agree that it didn't suck but it wasn't as exciting as his past fights. For the first time I think we saw him fight a little more to not lose rather than fighting to win. He was little too cautious for my taste but he fought smart and Evans is no slouch with this being only his second loss.

I will say this; he’s gone through some really tough fighters, Evans, Machida, Rampage, Shogun and others with Henderson up next. He’s probably had the toughest stretch that any champion has had in a while.

greg jackson, greg jackson, greg jackson!  More and more of Jones fights will begin looking like this.  It's what Jackson does to fighters.  He has champions, then he teaches them to, cautiously, keep their belts while stacking cash.  I understand it, but it does make for some disappointing fights.

Jones said in the post fight interview he was too cautious and needed to work on his confidence. I’ve seen the same cautious style evolve in other champions like GSP and Silva; fight to not lose rather than fight to win.

I think with silva it was more not preparing for the fights and being lazy in training and just wanted to get the win, when people thought he could lose to somebody he flat out dominated!!! for example franklin, henderson, griffin.belfort, okami, and marquardt people thought he would have a chance to get beat and we saw the results and he dominated in all of them!!! Maia, leites, cote, and sonnen fights I feel that he just wanted to get by and didn't take these fighters seriously!! now for gsp for example he hasn't had a stoppage in a fight since 2009!!!and that was against Penn

thats why boxing gets more pviews buys!!!!, Mayweather vs cotto will do over a million buys next weekend, and pacman vs bradley will too!!! If mayweather vs pacman fought and gps vs silva were fighting on the same night, mayweather vs pacman would dominate pview buys!

If your theory is correct Silva should totally dominate Sonnen in their next fight. We'll see.

I was really shocked at how bad be beat down Brian Stans supposedly not on roids. I am really looking forward to the rematch.
