Not sure if I can do June. That is why I said that I was available in May since I have vacation. I don't have much problems getting off of work most times but I think that I have an off duty job the morning that we have picked. I will have to check further.

I have only said that I was open in May. At least one other person has said the same thing. Most people don't have boats.

I don't see where anyone has agreed to anything except a couple of people have boats and a couple may not be able to make June.

hippy's comments on boat launching got me to wondering. I'm out of town right now, so i can't physically go and see but judging from airial photos and reading up on Pine Island, it seems like my boat would not do well their. I have a 19' Nitro and a friend willing to partner up with a poster that has a 20' Skeeter. I have never fished there, so I really don't know. However, if you wanted to have a good river tourney, you could go a little farther north and launch at Steinhagen and have both the Neches and Angelina Rivers. Launching is no problem there and the rivers are wide. just a thought.

It's always been tough setting up a tourney.  We have done two and I think best show was 4 or 5 boats.  I'm not even sure my boat will be able to launch there....I'm not sure how long boat ramp is.

haha! no thanks. last time i lauched where i shouldn't have, i liked to have never gotten out. glogged up my water intake in the process.
