That would require a lot of logistical moves.  Homes, families uprooted, proof that they didn't move for athletic reasons.  And you have to do all of that on the whim that they can be a force in 5A.  If i'm flannigan, I tell them to stay put.  He seems like an ethical guy, can't see him supporting this.

Well Brenhamfan, it isn't the Oil and Gas connection that Permian and PNG enjoyed in the 60's and 70's but you have to use what is available..... ;D

They will definitely be very highly recruited there senior year. Very very good. Very scary this year and even more scary there senior year.

[/quote]Shaking in my boots.  As good as they are it takes 22 players to win a ball game, that should leave them about 16 players short in that compartment.

I agree...  I doubt they won't be highly recruited, unless they grow.  Look at Montgomery's Leroy Dobbins from a few years ago.  He was one of the best HB's in the state, and one of the most explosive players I've ever seen.  Due to his size, he wasn't highly recruited and went to a junior college in New York.

Don't let the 30 seniors represent what was on the field. Here is what will be replaced  next year.
4 OL, 3 WR, 2 DL, 1 LB, 2 DB

Very good students and very good high school athletes.

Not sure if they will be "highly recruited", but I bet they will not have to pay for their college educations.
