coog31 Posted May 5, 2012 Report Posted May 5, 2012 I was at the game last night. I know for a fact that Coach Rupp and Coach Kirkland have a mutual respect for each other and are friends. Neither coach would blatantly disrespect the other. The relationship for both coaches goes back to the early 2000s so they have known each other for a while. Both teams respect each other and showed good sportsmanship before and after the game. Great game by both teams last night. As a fan, one can only hope the game today is just as good.
