I noticed the soccer field on the way to work the other day. Very nice! I hope they can get a new coach soon.

Kind of sad. Dewi was a good coach and really enjoyed getting to know him a little. He has a great staff as well. Gonna be hard to replace.

they should've given him a raise.  he took that program from nothing to a tourney team in just a coule of years.  his pipeline into the club soccer scene was invaluable.  they better find somebody good or i have a bad feeling that lamar will be heading back to the cellars pretty quick.

Saw Dewi the other night at his new gig monitoring the soccer training at the club where he works... I told him his Lamar goalie ( Bailey Fontenot) Never looked better... she was making some incredible stops at practice that evening.  Dewi was a different Cat.... but he put that program on the map...SFA barely beat them 1-0 and went on to be conference champs.. I hope they find someone talented... What's the original Jorge Cruz doing?  That would be awesome for him to return to Beaumont... but I do not think his wife is having it. She likes the larger cities.
