Wouldn't that be somethin !! As always, Where baseball is concerned, The weather always seems to get ya. It can go 3 months with no rain, But when you have time sensitive baseball to play, It will rain for a week...

You are correct. They will make exceptions when weather is a factor.

4) RAIN (BAD WEATHER) POLICY)
â€¢ Every effort must be made by both teams to determine the winner before the certification deadline. This includes
obtaining neutral sites and securing any available field. This could mean giving up a home field advantage if another
field is playable.
â€¢ If weather conditions make it impossible to determine a winner before certification, UIL must be contacted for an
extension. The next round opponent(s) must also be contacted to inform them that the deadline will be extended.
â€¢ Extreme scheduling difficulties such as those mentioned above could result in a coin flip which would determine the
representatives to the next round.

Just hope it does not come down to a coin flip.

Promise you this....Griff has a map of Texas and he's not afraid to go anywhere for a playoff game. He will either go the direction the rain came from,or he will beat the rain.....Heard some stories!!!!!

I just heard LCM has four alternate sites reserved in north and east texas and that Brenham was digging up a similar number in south and central texas. Should have it covered unless the rain has it covered better than the two of us.

I remember PN-G vs San Marcos. Game 2 of the series was Friday at Katy Morton Ranch, moved to Baytown Sterling. Rained out. Started again in Baytown. Rained again and finally finished the deciding game two at A&M on Monday.

It was a crazy few days at work. Beaumont to Katy. Then sitting around at a BBQ place to see if they could find a field. Finally get to Sterling and it starts raining just before the first pitch. Back on Saturday for a muddy mess in Baytown the to Aggieland where I swear it was a 100 degrees Monday. I'll take that over a coin flip any day though.

I called in a series back a few years ago between Ozen and Montgomery and we played at Round Rock Westwood to get the 3 games in. I think that PNG was playing across Austin at Westlake at the same time.
