BrenhamFan Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 "But Patrick Vaughn, KBMT Channel 12 chief meteorologist, says there's no running away from the rain on Friday and Saturday - unless you go up to Oklahoma."I just got back from Oklahoma, but I'll go back to avoid a coin flip.
txtitan72 Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 For once I hope it holds off a few more days.
TradinUp BH Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 What happens if they play the first game and then it rains out the second and third game? Do they just go by the first game or push back game 2 and 3?

WOSgrad Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 It looks as if the UIL may be sympathetic and if teams can get arrangements, they can play tonight. At least one local series (Warren/Elkhart) has obtained such a waiver from the UIL and will start their best of 3 tonight.
beachyking Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 Just wondering....is this for all districts? I would love to play tonightCan someone please verify this?

AshlyHasBeen Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 If you look at the radar I think baseball is a longshot even tonight.
WOSgrad Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 It is not raining over here, yet. But it sure is close.

adminbaberuth Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 I would start at noon Friday @Minute Maid. Play a game every 2 1/2 hours till midnight Saturday. That's about 18 games.
