Who:    Lamar Consolidated
When:  Langham Creek High School
Where:  1st game: Thursday (5/24) at 7
            2nd game: Friday (5/25) at 7
            3rd game:  Saturday at 2 (5/26) if necessary

The Richmond team that went was in 2003.  That would make those kids about 21 now, but it is the same area and they go far every year.

I'm not sure if Richmond feeds a different school now but in 2008 - 2009 Lamar Consolidated had 6 players on their team that played on the 2003 Little League World Series team. I have a son the same age that faced them in both Little League and Junior League playoffs. It may have changed recently but as far as the 2003 World Series Team, the majority of those kids did attend Lamar Consolidated. Randall Grichuck, Brady Rodgers, Cody Robinson, Wayne Willis, Eli Sepulveda, and Brandon Hollek were on both teams.

incorrect.
This is the same LL district that played in Williamsport.
The BH 2007 team beat them in the Regional Quarterfinals in Manvel.  There were 6-7 kids on that team they played in the little league world series, including Randall Gruchik(?) who played in two LL world series. Played as a 11 year old and then as a 12 year old. One of the best pure hitters I have ever seen. He is now in the minor league system. My son faced him in the playoff game. He struckout, hit a home run that I doubt has come down yet, and then was hit by a pitch. They played together one summer and decided to call themselves even. LOL.
These kids were also beaten by BH in the 14 Little League state tournament in Tyler, Texas.
