Indianforever Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 will a 19ft center console be safe to fish in sabine lake??
westend1 Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 Absolutely. Sabine is plenty deep in most parts of the lake. You see boats much larger than that running around. Or were you thinking it might be too small? ???
Indianforever Posted May 22, 2012 Author Report Posted May 22, 2012 i was wondering if it would be to small cause i dont wont to put my young boys in harms way....i just wont to make sure before i try it

thetragichippy Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 I agree........Just be careful and watch the weather. I have seen my 22'6" center console boat be too small for sabine lake(and jetty). I have never been scared, but when go down in a swell and can't see anything but water, it makes you more careful......lol
mat Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 You can usually tell the conditions before you get very far into the lake. When it's rough it's just not much fun
