PhatMack19 Posted June 8, 2012 Report Posted June 8, 2012 LSU gets solo Hr's in the 9th, 10th, & 11th to tie it up with Stoney Brook. Now in the 12th in a rain delay.
Guest UHCoog14 Posted June 8, 2012 Report Posted June 8, 2012 It's the ant vs the rubber tree plant. SB is as scrappy a team I've ever seen.
TradinUp BH Posted June 8, 2012 Report Posted June 8, 2012 Come on Tigers! I can honestly say that I was worried with LSU getting SB in the Super Regionals. It's a shame one of them will have to stay home from Omaha.
team first Posted June 8, 2012 Report Posted June 8, 2012 Your so correct, Stoney b is loaded with 7 players that got drafted. Going be a great series. Will restart at 10am tomorrow
PhatMack19 Posted June 9, 2012 Author Report Posted June 9, 2012 What kind of strategy do you use with your pitching? I think I would start my #2 and just let him keep going into the 2nd game.

Go to the pen to finish Gm 1 and then go with your normal rotation for Gm 2. Just wonder how many arms SB has?

I know LSU is loaded with some decent pitching, but I would think this is in the Tigers favor. They should have more depth then SB, but after watching them play who knows. They are a very good team. Geaux Tigers!
team first Posted June 9, 2012 Report Posted June 9, 2012 Both LSU and sb still have there aces, neither pitched yesterday
PhatMack19 Posted June 9, 2012 Author Report Posted June 9, 2012 I think the first game is more important for SB. They need to win that game and scratch one of the others. Stoney Brook has one of the best records in baseball this year, so they must have some pitching.
team first Posted June 9, 2012 Report Posted June 9, 2012 Lsu wins, lsu did use guasman there ace for 1 inn, and we come back for the 2nd game

PhatMack19 Posted June 9, 2012 Author Report Posted June 9, 2012 Baylor leads Arkansas 7-1 in the 8th
setxballfan Posted June 10, 2012 Report Posted June 10, 2012 Baylor takes game 1 vs Arkansas 8-1Sic 'em Bears!Feed the Beaver!
PhatMack19 Posted June 10, 2012 Author Report Posted June 10, 2012 Baylor leads Arkansas 4-3 in the 7th. They are just a few outs away from advancing to their 4th WS appearance in school history.Game 3 between LSU and Stoney Brook starts at 7. That should be a goood one.
PhatMack19 Posted June 10, 2012 Author Report Posted June 10, 2012 Baylor SS just booted an easy game ending double play ball that would sent the Bears to Omaha. Bases loaded with 1 out in the 9th for Arkansas. Baylor leads 4-3
PhatMack19 Posted June 10, 2012 Author Report Posted June 10, 2012 HBP with the bases loaded ties the game. WOW!
PhatMack19 Posted June 10, 2012 Author Report Posted June 10, 2012 New pitcher. First pitch hits the batter again!! Arkansas with a walk off win. Game 3 tomorrow
PhatMack19 Posted June 10, 2012 Author Report Posted June 10, 2012 Baylor's SS is wanting to go crawl in a hole right now. Double play balls don't get any easier than that, but he wasn't the one that plunked the 2 batters with the bases loaded.
longball Posted June 11, 2012 Report Posted June 11, 2012 LSU stinking it up right now. Give Stoney Brook credit scrappiest team I've seen in a long time.
PhatMack19 Posted June 11, 2012 Author Report Posted June 11, 2012 Stoney Brook playing add on. Now 7-2 in the 8th. LSU is running out of innings.
adminbaberuth Posted June 11, 2012 Report Posted June 11, 2012 Stoney Brook best defensive team I've seen in these regionals
PhatMack19 Posted June 11, 2012 Author Report Posted June 11, 2012 Headed to the 9th. SB is 3 outs away from Omaha
TradinUp BH Posted June 11, 2012 Report Posted June 11, 2012 SB deserves it. They outplayed my Tigers in all aspects of the game. Tip my hat to a dang good ball club. Watch out Omaha, this team could make some noise.

Their secret is out.Congrats to the Stony Brook Seawolves for advancing to Omaha!!
team first Posted June 11, 2012 Report Posted June 11, 2012 no doubt, sb defiantly was the better team in the series. should have swept lsu in 2. Good luck to sb in omaha
