I know Silsbee will be a top 5 team this year in 3A but unless the UIL finds something going on at Yates, Silsbee will go 3 rounds deep Nd come home. I prefer them to get second in distict. Does Athens or Waco La Vega have any players coming back? I ColdSpring was very athletic last year. What abou them?

I don't think all of Silsbee players have been playing summer ball. A lot of Silsbee players play football. Silsbee will have 4 starters playing football. I don't think basketball will be their focus right now in July. Maybe HJ should have some of their super athletes help out in the football team?

Just 3 potential starters play football (Holmes, Elam and Reed). Wilson and Dobbins do not play football. Jackson, Barnes, Scott, and Williams play football. Jontell (Irving McArthur transfer last year) may play football, but has not decided yet.

You are correct that some of Silsbee's players have not participated fully in summer league play. Some have been involved in 7 on 7 football and football camps.
