Humble ISD reveals largest HS video screen in the USA

If you look at the # of schools that share Turner field then add in all the events held there + advertizing $ I think that the revenue $$$$ will be there for a long time ;)

I guess you're partly correct. As a high school teacher (and a huge supporter of high school athletics),  I must admit that every time I pass by that stadium, I do get a good laugh.
[/quote]Do you laugh at the Great Storied athletics in the city of Baytown?  How did they stack up agains anything that BISD put out?  What happened the last time a Baytown School played a Beaumont school?  Now THAT makes me laugh....  very hard indeed.

[/quote]...and so do we.  Stadium lights....  stadium parking...  Stadium seating.  Stadium turf.  Stadium fans...  Yep, I think it's labeled as a 'football stadium'.  I think the 'Berry Center' is also listed as a stadium in Cy-Fair.

In Coldspring we barely have a scoreboard, however, when playoffs start we get to light up the ones at places like Turner Field.. :)

I've always liked playing a early round game at Turner and now it looks like it just got better...

With the state of education in gooseville isd, I wouldn't make any comments about other school districts. Sarcasm or not!

North Shore and Galena Park have a huge jumbo tron and tv's all over stadium. Nice complex.

The Galena Park jumbotron is considered small since the run on big screens across high school fields. When it first opened it was unlike anything I ever saw at a HS stadium.

Crosby is supposed to be getting a $300k new scoreboard in the very near future.  However none of it will be paid for by the school.. The company and school are responsible for selling advertisements on the board and large portions of the money from ads goes to the scoreboard company until the $300k is paid for.

Once the board is paid for, the school will get all the ad revenue.  Its a win-win for all parties.

If Hardin got a big screen scoreboard, they would have one of the best facilities in SETX. Their turf field is awesome!
