omgitskelsey Posted June 19, 2012 Report Posted June 19, 2012 My name is Kelsey Young. I'm 19 years old and I graduated from West Brook in 2011 after starting 4 years on the varsity softball team. I played travel ball for Hit Away Gold out of Houston for 3 years before graduating. I decided not to continue playing softball in college and attended Lamar for my freshman year. However, I will be attending Texas Tech in the fall and I plan to play for the club team there. For the summer, I will be offering hitting and fielding lessons to girls ages 10-16. I have a couple years experience giving lessons and I have worked out a successful lesson plan which covers both mechanics and knowledge of the game. I do not have experience with pitching, catching, or slapping. If anyone is interested in a list of athletic accomplishments I achieved during my softball career which may verify my accountability as an instructor, feel free to email or call me. I live in Beaumont and will give lessons either at West Brook or the municipal complex depending on availability. My fee is $25 an hour. I work part time and will need flexibility in scheduling.
