boys' head coach position.  Where is he going?

Good question, but the job is open. It was posted on the school's website and at THSCA on Wednesday.

I do worry about 3A, especially 21-3A.  But, tell me this - where is any hate in my post to which you replied?

Because EC would not be playing Hardin-Jefferson at least twice a year in district 21-3A.  Duh!

Just a thought but East Chambers basketball will actually be in Region IV instead of III. That's a much easier road to Austin.

They've already had three other coaches leave, OL coach, Baseball coach and another assistant. Now the BBALL HC, something must be brewing!!!!!  Thought I would not see Hoffpauir leave after one year, he's their reason over the last two years!!!!!

It will probably have to be the perfect situation for Clay to leave.  He is not going to leave HJ if he won't be able to have his kids some and in 2A that doesn't always happen.  Not sure how Sutherland runs his athletic program, but in the past EC has had universal offseason.   

Region IV usually is easier but Aransas Pass is now 2A in Region IV and they are returning 6'7" and a few 6'5" from last year.  They would get to the state tournament in 3A the past decade or so.  It is a much easier region overall though.

You do know that the head basketball position is open, right? Coach Russ Sutherland is the AD/head football coach. I believe Coach Davis is inquiring about the head basketball position.
