BBfan061 Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 I would say Kountze runs the table ... but is there any teams that could give them a run for their money? ?
bball2011 Posted July 2, 2012 Report Posted July 2, 2012 Any truth to the Rumors of Jubert leaving?? I heard they hired another AD and He was upset that they didn't offer him the Job.
mfd814 Posted July 3, 2012 Report Posted July 3, 2012 Relax, they didnt make him the AD when they hired Dale either. He is there because of those kids. Keep up the good work Joubert.
BBfan061 Posted July 3, 2012 Author Report Posted July 3, 2012 I doubt joubert leaves a team who should be favored to win the 2A state championship next season

Serious question. No sarcasm intended.
BBfan061 Posted July 17, 2012 Author Report Posted July 17, 2012 Well we lost in the regional finals to the state champs who we were up by 9 on at the start of the 4th... we were missing a starter and a key bench player that game. We will return 4 of 5 starters this year.. one of our best was only a freshman last year.. (Justin harper).. oh and we get that Grayland arnold id lol i hear he is pretty good.. but i would definitely say we are one of the favorites :-)

I see all those good teams. Its gonna be tough. They'll have their work cut out big time. But they have just as much a shot as any one of those teams, so we will see.
whsalum Posted July 17, 2012 Report Posted July 17, 2012 The Lions will probably run the table in district but their lack of size will hurt them in the post season. If some of the returning players have grown over the summer they will be interesting. They will miss Linn stretching the defense.
TopDawG52 Posted July 17, 2012 Report Posted July 17, 2012 Watched the lions summer team lAst week and they are about 9 deep and should be the favorite out of region 3.....
stevenash Posted July 17, 2012 Report Posted July 17, 2012 I havent seen the Arnold kid play but have heard plenty about him. Is he likely to start for the Lions?
BBfan061 Posted July 17, 2012 Author Report Posted July 17, 2012 Tough to say right now nash... i might think he would be coming off the bench to start the year...
TopDawG52 Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 Grayland will be the 1st player to come off the bench. could start at anytime in the season. i expect the harper brothers to start ahead of him.
KHSAlum400 Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 What's Jamazdon Powell's status? Is he expected to play this season or is it pretty much over for him at this point?

bball2011 Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 There is nobody in 2A in there District that can play with them.I watched them play for the last couple weeks, there are deep and quick. I wasn't sure if Arnold could play at that level but he did good. Darrion wasn't there last night and Arnold did just fine. The good thing is he don't have to be a shooter, He can find the open man. I think with Justin getting that Freshman year behind him he will definitly fill the outside shooting of Lynn. They do miss a lot of easy shots under the basket though. Its just summer league though. Maz look fine also, he always does, it's his school work that usually gets him in trouble. Good Luck to Joubert.

He was the best pure shooter next to Linn. Powell should move to the other guard spot were Justin played last year. One thing for sure is that we'll be DEADLY beyond the arc and with our quickness on the press. If Powell stays eligible this year I can see us playing in Austin in March. Arnold is going to surpise ALOT of people.
