1. Port Arthur Lincoln
2. Buna
3. Hardin Jefferson
4. Hebert
5. Kountze

Kountze has more state tourney appearances and titles than Hebert.

Port Arthur Lincoln has been to the state tourney 11 times, winning the championship 7 times.

Buna has been 8 times, winning the state title 7 times.

Kountze has been 9 times, winning the title 4 times.

Hardin-Jefferson has been 7 times, winning 3 state championships.

Silsbee has been 5 times, no state titles.

Hebert has been 3 times, winning it all 3 times.

Big Sandy has been to the state tourney 12 times, winning the state championship 2 times.

Beaumont French has been 8 times, no titles.

West Sabine has been 5 times with 2 state titles.

Huntington has been 4 times winning it all 4 times.

Beaumont Ozen has been 4 times, with 1 state championship.

WOS has 2 football and 3 track state titles.

If you combine boys and girls and all sports, I believe Barbers Hill would probably have the most.

BUNA is tied 7 boy's bball between 1954 and 1963 and 4 girls bball between 55 and 61.

Barbers hill: 3 g bball, 2 football, 2 boy's track(1930's and 1950's)

I thought Barbers Hill had some baseball and volleyball state titles too.

[/quote]AAW, I wish those days would return for Huntington....It seems like a LONG time ago. BB program has gotten better the past several years, just need to go to another level.....

The Hebert teams back in the 80's were awesome. Very disciplined and athletic.
