I love watching him play the game. A lot like when Biggio came up. Hustle gains a lot of respect, at least from us baseball purists.

Altuve is an all-star because they need one person from the Astros to represent the team. Altuve is is a up-and-comer, but to compare him to Biggio right now is a stretch. Wishful thinking, at best.

Biggio was the model of consistency. Altuve has a long way to go just to even be eligible to be called consistent. However I love his approach and he has a good chance.

Yes. And the organization is hoping he stays this good. Just needs to work on plate discipline.

Hard to compare Biggio to anybody. I believe he is the only player to make All-Stars as a catcher and secondbaseman. I cant think of many infielders that have shown starting an AS game in different infield positions, Cal Ripken Jr I think started SS and 3rd.
