Last year is OVER and both teams fought tooth and nail and I expect the same this year. These are the 2 best teams on paper in 20-4a, but every Friday is a new night. My son plays for Nederland and has been a starter for 3 years now and he asks why Vidor  has so much anger towards Nederland. I tell him that they want to be as good as Nederland has been in making the playoffs and when they lose to either Nederland or PN-G it just adds fuel to a fire. I tell him all the time what practice,one play and one game at a time and we will be in Vidor soon enough. I think all the animosity Vidor has towards Nederland clouds their minds and just maybe feeds a into Nederland s paws. Hey GOOD LUCK to both teams .

Yea, that was a great post and I give you a +1 as well.

I admit that I was one of those who thought that the Pirates were making a big mistake having Quirante go both ways.  But he has shown an incredible ability to stay healthy and he really brings it when he hits ya.  I, too, hope that he stays healthy, along with all players on all the teams.  Its a lot of fun to watch him play.  He might be one of the best to come out of this area in a long time.

It's true. When I picked up season tickets for my parents before leaving town, Vidor was the first game to sell out. The ticket lady said they had requested more and to come back a few days later. When I went back, she said that Vidor had refused to send more than the original 500. All other tickets would not be sent until the week of the game.

Probably. I just can't figure out what it is. This the third time that since 2007 we've played Vidor for their homecoming and as far as I know, this is the first time they've sent so few tickets for purchase before the season starts.
