Lol[/quote]LOL....yeah, right.Appel just drank to much of Boras' kool-aid.The money is getting tighter every year and you turn down $3.8 mil and now will be a senior.Lose education leverage and risk injury......fine with me if he rots away in independent ball.

EAGLE07 Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 I agree with Pats. It ain't Mills' fault. This organization has screwed up so much in the last few previous years, with the draft or lack thereof, renting players, etc, that it is just going to take some time to turn it around.
king Posted July 18, 2012 Author Report Posted July 18, 2012 So what they need to do before going to al? Is brett myers our closer? Who should stay and who should go?
DesertStorm Posted July 19, 2012 Report Posted July 19, 2012 Have to get pitching!!!!! Draft and/or trade. Trade will work sooner, don't think Mills will survive the draft route, takes too long. There is no help in their system.
ForeverADog Posted July 19, 2012 Report Posted July 19, 2012 Hitting is just as bad as the pitching to me! Keep getting prospects and I'm not sure what kind of money Crane wants the budget at but get young then sign a big free agents in a couple years when we get close.
walldrill Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 I agree have to be balanced going into the AL West you have to be able to outscore both the Rangers and Angels along with being able to hold them down. Both the M's and A's have put together pretty good young pitching staffs as well.
DesertStorm Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 Maybe today's trade will start to rebuild the farm system. My guess is they use Cordero for more prospects. Looks like they are rebuilding over reloading.
