Looking for a team

My daughter is 12, but she will be 13 in October. She is a strong player. She is a pitcher, but she can play any position. The only position she has not played is catcher. She has a good bat and arm.

TMack - Out Of Control would welcome your daughter to our practices.  We have an open practice for our 14U team this coming Sunday at 2 p.m. at Lumberton High School.    We have official tryouts on August 5th and 19th, but attending a practice would be good for you to see us in a typical practice setting.  We typically practice at Marauder Park (A#1 training complex between Lumberton and Beaumont off 69/96) during the week, and Lumberton High School on the weekends to mix in both astroturf fields and dirt fields into the practices.

The Out Of Control Founder (Billy Mitchell) still coaches the older groups (14U & 18U).  Billy's daughters have since grown (but do give pitching lessons :) ) and he has complete unbiased coaching control with the older teams.

Keep watching this forum on our separate post (already out there) related to tryouts for updates as we may add one more try-out next weekend.  Our primarily first year 14U team placed top 3 in the majority of tournaments they've played this year (Houston area tourneys as our focus) and we expect them to be a force to be reckoned with in their second year.

GTShockers 14U team will have an open practice / tryouts Saturday July 21st. at Westbrook High School girls softball field. Practice times are as follows:

9am-10  Pitchers and catchers
10 -11    Middle infielders
11-12    Corner infielders
11-12    Outfield
12-1      Lunch
1-2        Team defense
2-until    Team hitting

Our core girls practice both primary and secondary positions. For new players all positions are open so feel free to come to all position work outs.

We will also have a tryout Sunday July 29th  2PM at college street fields G,H or I.
