I drove by it this weekend and it looked like it was covered with a light brown tarp or that it had sand spread all over it.......did not get close enough to see what was going on

They are redoing the turf.  I believe with a better kind of turf, not sure what kind or brand.  But the installers guantee that it will slow down all those D1 studs that everybody but us have.  ;) ::) ;D

Yeah they has some of the new surface spread out yesterday, it looked like it was already sewn together. I think that is the time consuming part. It won't be long, but won't need it really until 8/24.
