[b]2010 Record: 11-2 Overall, 7-0 District (District 20-4A Champions)

The one thing that naysayers always pointed to during Nederland's run of fourteen playoff appearances in fifteen years is that Nederland had never won a outright district championship.  In 2011, the Bulldogs left no doubt as they ran through the 20-4A schedule undefeated in route to the district championship and a three week playoff run.  Many members of the defense that keyed that run will be back this year and they look to be supplemented by an offense that has grown in experience.

A lot of hard work went into last year and it paid off, but this is a new year and I have seen  a lot of these young men work this summer as if they were  denied their dream. They want to prove they are worth a date on 12/16/2012. I tell these young men remember one play at a time and one game at a time. Good Luck and Play like there is no tomorrow. GO DOGS!!!

What happened to Malveaux? Wasnt he the sophmore noseguard?
nothing happened at all.
to my knowledge he is still playing.
i have no idea why WOSgrad talked about a new sophomore when nederland has so many proven senors and juniors.

Allright BooDogs...It's rare, but this NDN fan expects big things from you guys this year. Just hope your guys stay healthy as this seems to bite (no Bulldog pun intended) you guys in the rear more so than any other local team year in and year out.

Good Luck!

Offense will be the same as last year...base power I with spread and pro sets mixed in...best description of the offense would be multiple set
I wouldn't mind seeing more quick throws to the TE across the middle, with the WR's stretching the field for them.

First day in pads and the DOGS sound good. Some surprises by underclassmen but the starting D looks awesome and O line looks to be solid as well. Big hits with good speed on the lines. Chris Henry is going to be a force at center really good size and foot speed. Just so pleased with the work and chemistry of this team.

Juron improved a lot over summer with size and strength. Barton was hitting the hole hard between the tackles. Tinsley looked good but was a little intimidated but good size with really good speed. Chris Henry really looked good at center.Chris really grew over summer too. I liked the way they all competed but now they have to get use to the speed and intensity of varsity play. They will all be well educated next Friday when WO-S comes to town. I can remember watching that came when Brock was a sophomore and how he and Curon matured so much by the end of that game.
