Just a few recent good ones I remember:

1. Wallace Franklin - Ozen
2. Royal (I forgot the first name) - Ozen
3. Zach Sonnier - LC-M
4. Nelson - PN-G
5. A. J. Dugat - Dayton
6. Derrick Hall - Central
7. (big reciever from Central in '09...forgot his name)
8. Devon Ogletree - Central
9. J. Seals - PA Memorial
10. Asa Cardenas - Nederland

Number 7 on your list is the Starter at SMU #81 Holloman I think.

In no particular order.

The small, fast reciever from Central's name was Ivory wasn't it?
Ivory (Chopper) Williams last played on the 2003 Central team and played mostly CB, however, he played reciever his Jr. year (2002 football season). He was about 5'9" (not sure that you consider that small).  He was the man that have barely missed out on the olympic games for the last 2 times.

AJ Dugat hands down.  117 receptions for 1700+ yards, 16 tds to go along with another 700+ and 7 tds on the ground his senior year.  Not to mention great seasons as a soph and junior.  It's hard to argue objectively for anyone else.

The chronicle only goes back to 2007 but its shows that in 2007 he was also 28/53 in passing for 555yds and 5 touchdowns. He also had 5 interception playing Cornerback. Rushed for 265 yds on 35 carries for 5 touchdowns.

Along with his receiving stats from 2008 he rushed for 642 yds on 58 carries and 3 more interceptions at CB.

Aj was one of the best I have seen. The kid nelson for png had the best half I have seen. I think he had over 200 yds the first half against before we decided to double team him.
I was at that game.  Nelson was doing that to teams all year, most of the time, while double covered.

He was obviously a great receiver, but just a great all around football player.  He made two crucial plays in the 08 state championship run on the defensive side of the ball.  He intercepted the livingston qb in the end zone in the 4th qtr to seal the victory and advance the broncos to the next round.  He also made the play that put the broncos into the state championship against tivy when he stripped a tivy wr with about 2 minutes left.  He returned it about 40 yards to set up the game winning fg.

Not as good as AJ in his prime, but I loved watching Roderick Amey from Dayton/Baytown Sterling
The rocket could play some ball.  He never had the advantage of playing for stewart that aj had, but was a great player.  Unfortunately for him he played for the genius Larry Sherman, the head coach that specialized in qb sneaks and punting on 3rd down.  If you're losing by 30, don't try to flip the field and play field position.

Just for the record it was Baytown Lee.

Jerimichael Finley - Diboll.  Playing for Green Bay packers now.  BH played against him and everytime the ball went in his direction we had at least two people trying to make him wish he was at home.  He played offense, defense, and special teams.  Watched him throw-up on the side lines at least twice and he kept playing.  We pretty much shut him down that game, but he was one tough dude and one heck of an athlete.

Haven't seen many in my few years but i would definitely have the award for the best i've seen to the guy from PNG last year. That guy could make you look stupid if you were a CB or Safety. A definite game changer.
