I think it's a little crazy for a school district to spend that kind of money on a football stadium for one school.  But, it wouldn't surprise me if they fill the entire 18,000 seats on game days.  Their band has nearly 700 members and actually requires 1,000 seats with the equipment.  The halftime sight alone is worth catching a game.  I would think that Allen will be a powerhouse for years to come, unless they eventually split the school into two.

Do mean as in growth?  I live in Frisco now and it continues to grow, but unfortunately will never have a 5A school as that is the cities model...right now we have 5 4a's and 1 3a which just opened last year.  I will be at the Allen vs SLC game at the end of the month..can't wait!

Difference, Mr. Berry had long been retired from the district. Wasn't currently on staff.

No, because now they are going to name the field as " Calvin Walker Field"! The bathrooms are being named after the school Board, and the parking lot is being named after Soulja! lol Just messing with ya. ;D ;D

I really don't care to joke about or give BISD a hard and always wish them the best. I just couldn't help myself this time. :o I think they get way more than there share of flack even though they bring some of it on themselves.

Mr. Berry is friend of our family! Helped get my wife the right contacts to get promoted to Principal in Cy Fair.
