Michele Posted August 10, 2012 Report Posted August 10, 2012 So what's the word on our kicker for this season.....Ogreiziak(sp?) or Noel?
GrayDog Posted August 10, 2012 Report Posted August 10, 2012 They have a sophomore that has +50 yard range and is automatic on extra points that is likely to bring some good competition...
Michele Posted August 10, 2012 Author Report Posted August 10, 2012 Great! Will be nice to have some depth in our kicking. Can't wait to see the boys in action.
BMTSoulja1 Posted August 10, 2012 Report Posted August 10, 2012 What a lot of people failed to realize is that the district champions were good in that they played the field possition game better than I've seen in recent years. The kicking game was part of that. Good kickoffs and good punts leads to bad starting field position for oponents. If Nederland's kicker is any good, that will make this year's edition even that much better.
Michele Posted August 10, 2012 Author Report Posted August 10, 2012 I agree...we had some good placement
outanup Posted August 10, 2012 Report Posted August 10, 2012 Does Nederland practice tomorrow? And if so, what time?

dmeast11111 Posted August 11, 2012 Report Posted August 11, 2012 Noel... He is a great kicker...he can hit 50 also... plus calm and cool under pressure...A big part of kicking is being able to handle the game being on your shoulders everytime you step on the field... and he can handle it... 8) 8) 8)
cooligan Posted August 11, 2012 Report Posted August 11, 2012 Noel will be the starter. He was hitting 50 today with room to spare. Those soccer kids can really boom the ball.
