Changes in Orange Community Christian Schedule

Here is the revised schedule for the CCS Lions:

Aug. 18 - High Island (Scr.), 4:30 p.m.
Aug. 25 - at Clear Lake Christian (Scr.), 6:30 p.m.
Sept. 1 - Huntsville Alpha Omega, 7:30 p.m.
Sept. 8 - at Houston Emery-Weiner, 7:00 p.m.
Sept. 15 - Bellville Faith, 4:00 p.m.*
Sept. 21 - at Katy Faith West, 7:00 p.m.
Sept. 28 - at Brazosport Christian, 7:00 p.m.*
Oct. 5 - at Brenham Christian, 7:00 p.m.*
Oct. 13 - OPEN
Oct. 20 - at Houston Mt. Carmel, 7:00 p.m.
Oct. 26 - at Alvin Living Stones, 7:00 p.m.*
Nov. 3 - Houston Texas Christian, 7:30 p.m.*
Nov. 10 - Magnolia Legacy Prep, 12:00 p.m.*

The change was dictated by a couple of events.  First, Dickinson Pine Drive Christian dropped its sports program and was replaced by Mt Carmel on the schedule.  Second, there was some disconnect on the date of the Chester game as CCS had the game on its schedule for 9/21 and Chester had it on the schedule for 9/14.  As it could not be resolved, CCS replaced Chester with Katy Faith West (whom some Beaumont Legacy fans may remember as a former district mate), who will be playing as a 6 man independent this year.

The Lions have some really good players and great numbers this year . Look for them to go a long way.
