I said before that Nederlands strength is their fundamentals and discipline.....let me add composure and coaching. I think Nederland will still be the team to beat in 20 4A however I think this district battle will be a lot of fun. Ned team returns with no major changes however the dynamics at Central and Ozen have changed.

Central is already talking about *State* this season.

I suspect there are a lot of teams in Texas who are already talking about "state" this season.

My full apologies.  I did not mean what I was saying.  It just slipped out.  I wasnt feeling well and a liberal acquaintance of mine convinced me I needed to drink some Orange juice.  I immediately had a strange feeling come over me where I had lost all control - hence my erroneous comment- a subsequent investigation revealed that my friend had given me "kool aid" rather than orange juice.  For a couple of minutes I was chanting "tax the rich" and "where are my entitlements"?

You DESERVE those tickets to Austin and somebody else needs to pay for them.  After all, in a country as wealthy (LOL) as this one, anyone who wants to go to Austin should be able to go whenever they want, regardless of their financial status.

I've now seen Ozen play two times, Central play WB and Nederland play HJ.  It is EARLY and my opinion is subject to change :D but I believe Ozen is the early favorite for 20-4a with Ned. getting second and Central third. Ned. and Central may also get upset in a game against the Livingston, LCM or PNG.

Nederland needs its football boys for rebounding especially if they fall in love with shooting 3s. When they are hitting they are going to be hard to beat but as we all know if the 3s are not falling it makes for a long night.  Weisbrod is a beast and needs to get the ball in paint more.

Central has athletes that can get to bucket but no offense other than driving to the bucket. When they can get turnovers on their press they can score in bunches but they will need more than that against Ozen and Ned.

Ozen looks like they will press most of the game this year and have the guards to do it. They also have very good 3 point shooters and enough height that will run the floor to rebound.

Like I said its early and many fans will say their coach will fix the early problems, we did this last year, or some other excuse to explain away early struggles but its fun to talk about.  Have any of you changed your mind about 20-4a playoff teams and how they will finish?
