I will be attending this one. I would think angleton has the edge in this game but anything could happen on Friday night.

This is really early to predict. Angleton plays 2 tough opponents before the Nederland game and could be a little banged up by then. It could go either way just like the Angleton/Dayton series went the past 2 years. Angleton was able to jump out on opponents early in games last year and if they can do that against the Dogs, I'll go with them of course being a homer. Angleton 24, Nederand 14.  ;D

Yeah, actually the site was created last season. They'll add stats and pictures from each game and some videos of interviews from Coach Roark and a few players. Who ever runs it does a great job.

Angleton has alot of speed and size a pretty hard combination to overcome. Dayton and angleton had some slugfest the last couple of years with angleton getting the best of us. Both games were decided by 8 pts or less. Still trying to get over the accidental onside kick that gave angleton alot of momentum last year. Nederland will have their hands full.

Nederland too has a tough preseason. It is way too early to know what we be like health wise either. Angleton is not ranked where they are for no reason. Always fast and fierce . I do believe it could be a close defensive slug fest.

I think its a little dangerous to start looking that far ahead. Players read these forums, believe it or not. Right now, the Dogs have one opponent and one game; the Crosby Cougars on Aug 31. Ill save my prediction until the week of the Angleton game.

I agree. Way to early to be looking that far down the road. Let's stay focused and play one game at a time. What's next week? Who will be our 1st round opponent? I understand the excitement, but let's not put a larger target on our backs than we already have.
