Memorial and Coldspring

The quarterback and running back for memorial won't be as good this year surely?
Wanna bet a dinner on that in bold?
Yep, same size & same speed as Holmes was starting out, IMO quicker feet. I think the Freshman has more upside but thats just my opinion.

Just curious, who do you guys think has the best offense in SETX?
Based on offensive stats I would thing Summer Creek would be one of the top offensive teams. QB threw for over 2300 yards, three recievers over 400 yards each and a fourth with over 300 yards.

Holmes never played a full season so why does everyone think there will be such a dropoff for the Titans. The other RB's really carried the Titans. Very few outside peeps had heard of Seals until last season; I wonder why? He started every game as a junior. Our Cupboards are stacked.
They dont really know what the Titans have. Only what they see on TV and the newspaper.  ;)

Outandup I agree totally. Its dependant on this years team chemistry. Im excited about what Ive seen but its premature to think that way.
I know one thing, i've seen that Freshman. If folks remember Mike Owens that coached at Tyler Lee (and TJ) he had a Freshman RB on Varsity by the name of Tyrone Ross (he shredded Memorial when they played his Senior year) thats who he reminds me of.

Nuevo Leon next week @BH ;D
There is alot of time and energy spent obsessing over BH here.......and adults wearing purple dog or pony hats should not say anything about a tutu wearing mascot......lol

But back to the thread.....HD hands down, too many offensive juggernauts there. Not to mention the tradition, a new offense, a new coach and people from all over Texas and yes many states pulling for them. This thread should be locked because the answer is clear

Come on guys.......it is a buildup to the season. No one catches more crap on here than BH fans. I do not have a dog in the race. I am a high school sports fan. My kid attends BH but is not on the football team. My other son attended WH and I know first hand the dynamics of the WH/HD rivalry. As for Dayton liltex, I have family there and it is fun to talk. In my opinion, it will be rough year for BH. It is tough to replace the talent that graduated. Remember, I went to a high school that now has english as a 2nd language....... ;D

I can understand the excitement with memorial, but losing 3 D1 recruits, I hardly believe that they will put up the same numbers as last year. Maybe at running back, but at QB and wide receiver I doubt it. Heard the QB wasn't cutting the mustard at all. But it is early so I could be wrong, but I think manvels offense is gonna be a monster. Just my thoughts.
