PhatMack19 Posted August 19, 2012 Report Posted August 19, 2012 I went to the game last night. The entire starting lineup for that game had 31 homeruns this season combined! It's hard for anyone to win games with team full of minor leaguers.

Castor27 Posted August 19, 2012 Report Posted August 19, 2012 timing seems weird to me. I'm thinking they would have let him finish the season. But Luhnow made some comments about several players (One being Wallace) that they need to be playing everyday. Since then he has sat out 3 or so games. I'm thinking there had to be some communication/philosophy differences that brought this on earlier than I expected.

Just sit 'em all down and ask 3 questions. 1) Can anyone hit? 2) Can anyone run? 3)Can anyone throw? If you get three yeses back they are in the lineup; can't matter too much what position. This organization is FOUR years away from even challenging in the AL West (or where ever they have been relegated).
