TradinUp BH
Does anyone know if ever that all of the high schools in one county made the playoffs in football the same year? It would be nice to see 3 or 4 teams plus if anyone knows. I don't have the answer, but I'm curious.
gary-us-bonds
Harris County would need 100 teams in the playoffs lol.I am sure there are some one school counties maybe out there. What specifically are you trying to get at with this question? Which county do you have your eye on?

Guest ECBucFan
Pretty much rule out Jefferson and Harris. Too many teams. Sterling is a block east of Garth Rd on Baker St.in the dead center of Baytown, and Lee is at the south tip of Baytown, near the old tunnel thats now a bridge. WOSgrad
Then that would make Chambers County the winner as Barbers Hill, Anahuac and East Chambers were all in the playoffs after the 2010 season.

BrenhamFan
Washington County- Brenham & Burton. For the last 3 or 4 years, we have both been in the playoffs. West Brook and Memorial both making the playoffs in the same year (not necessarily this year) really isn't a stretch. PN-G, Nederland, Central and Ozen would have to take up all four 20-4A spots. Considering that both Mid-County schools and one of the Beaumont schools have made it the last three years running, that really isn't a stretch. The main obstacles would be Vidor and Livingston. Then there's Kelly, and I believe they made it to a TAPPS state championship either last season or the season before, so that's really not a stretch of the imagination. The issues would come in the lower classifications. I have no idea what Sabine Pass's playoff chances are and do we really see Hamshire-Fannett making the playoffs any time soon? Also, would Hardin-Jefferson be in that mix because part of their district extends into Jefferson County?

HDBobcats9
Liberty County: 2000Dayton Broncos: Area Qualifier 4A DIICleveland Indians: State Quarterfinalist 3A DILiberty Panthers: Bi-District Qualifier 3A DIIHardin Hornets: Bi-District Qualifier 2A DIHull-Daisetta Bobcats: Bi-District Qualifier 2A DIII thought they had the clean sweep based off the list that was posted earlier in the thread..... Then I realized Liberty County has SIX schools. Tarkington is in Liberty Co. Tarkington only has one playoff appearance in school history and that was 56 years ago (1956). Still five out of six ain't bad. Four teams went a few times. All-Time Playoff appearances for Liberty Co:Dayton: 27 appearances (including currently 16 in a row dating back to 1995)Cleveland: 14 playoff appearances (including 9 since 1997)Liberty: 24 appearances (including 12 trips since 1995)Hardin: 7 appearances (including 5 since 2000)Hull-Daisetta: 31 appearances (including 10 since 1998)Tarkington: 1 appearance (1956)Dayton has appeared in one state championship game (2008) and Hull-Daisetta has appeared in two (1961 and 1979), winning Liberty County's only State Championship.
