Kvillecats Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012
So what is the score of the game your watching
I dont remember Huntington scoring 2 touchdowns against the varsity. I guess you dreaming i dunno ::)
kcat-fan Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 Kville picked one off and now driving. Dang. 2nd TD called back on flag
Kvillecats Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012
Whats the varsity score?
Huntington have a better team than in the past, but still got dominated by Kirbyville defense. from what i saw they couldnt move the ball against us.
no-look Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 If you guys are watching the same game, what does the scoreboard say? ;D
txcan Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 I'm in the recliner getting updates. My source tells me in live play kville wins 27-21. Huntington threw int at the end. Are you telling me I am getting bad info?
txcan Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 RL says 27-21 kville. That's all I got to go on
txcan Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 From what I understand Huntington wasn't moving the ball well at first but got things going during live play. A scrimmage is a scrimmage but I feel like Huntington got good work out of it from what I hear.
BBfan061 Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 I talk to my friend who was there... it was 27-21 kirbyville on top..heard sexton for kville had 3 scores
Kvillecats Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012
From what I understand Huntington wasn't moving the ball well at first but got things going during live play. no-look Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 Sounds like a competitive scrimmage.....
kcat-fan Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 Kville dominated in scrimage.. like 7 scores to 0 scores, live play Kirbyville did win 27-21, but Huntington did get some momentum and look better than in recent years...good luck to em' this season...good game!
Javelina Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 Huntington gave Kirbyville all they could handle during the live game segment. Wish both teams the best of luck this season
kcat-fan Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 I think the Kats are shaping up ok. Need to work on reducing those penalties ....that cost the Kats a few TDs to be called back. Overall both teams done well :)
kville Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 I was at the game and follow the team close so I can tell you this for a fact. Kirbyville defense looked great during the scrimmage. During the live play, where everyone felt the cats fell apart and Huntington got the momentum. Kirbyville had 3, 4 or more freshman and sophomores on the field and they did a pretty good job. Kirbyville always pulls all of the talent off of Jv. They had sexton at safety part of the time but for the most part it was what a scrimage is suppossed to be. So don't read a lot into it either way.
Javelina Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 So Kirbyville mainly played freshman and sophomores during the live play? So that's why it was so close
kville Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012
So Kirbyville mainly played freshman and sophomores during the live play? Not knocking Huntington. They look better than in the past and I can't say they had their beat in all the time either. They may have been doing the same.
BBfan061 Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 I hear depth is a big problem for kirbyville

Backfield is always stacked. Linebacker may be not so much.
WILDCAT02 Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 I went to K-ville, Huntington scrimmage last nite, made the trip from bmt, I was very impressed with K-ville even though I left for live play. Not knocking any teams in our district, but K-ville will turn heads!!
