I know its a scrimmage but dayton looks way to athletic for ned. Our oline looks much better and our d has not let ned run the ball at all.

Nederland has played much of the scrimmage with at least two,  sometimes 3 non starters on D line and the whole scrimmage with backup safeties.  Kimler went out after first play.

Nederland is using a new SWISS CHEESE defensive scheme...works well when your offense can out score opponents..but looks like thats not gonna happen either...oh'well...there is always next year.

Dayton's offense is pretty dang good though, esp #18.  For nederland
the theme of not being able to run the ball continues.

After that 1st half, they might not be back-ups any more.

according to the newspaper there was a few out and they were shuffleing their o-line around for some experimenting for some guys injury on the line.
