Guest Penny Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 The Dogs are playing a bunch of talented sophomores... if they figure out how to win now... and Brian will push them to do so... look out, they could be a spoiler this year. They may not have the maturity to win a playoff spot, but they will compete like there's no tomorrow... that will provide upsets... they will play the spoiler at the least and may compete for a playoff spot???
KFDM COOP Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 Your right. He's a great Coach and no one better take them lightly.
Guest Nederland Bulldogs Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 I'm glad we have him. Give him time and we'll be at the top in Basketball.
Guest Penny Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 I'm going out on a limb, but he may not even need time... he may be too addicted to the playoff runs he had in Vidor and may just impose his will on the Dawgs... we will see!!!!
Razor Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 Brian will have these boys winning. If not this year, certainly I expect them to be very competetive next year. This team is already reaping the rewards of good coaching in that they have improved as the season progresses. Case in point, two pre-season losses to PNG, one by a large margin followed by a district win at the Reservation. Brian has these kids moving in the right direction and more importantly, beginning to believe in themselves. That is the single biggest component to building a winning program.
