Prayers....football related?[/quote]He complained to coach West of a head ache 30 mins after practice. The doctors said it wasn't football related. He also said chances of it happening to a 17 year old are 1 in 1,000,000.

KellyGreen22 Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 To make it clear, it was not an aneurysm. His carotid artery burst in his neck, causing a clot in his brain which led to a stroke. He had surgery yesterday, and again this morning to relieve pressure off of his brain. He will now be sedated for at least 36 hrs and the doctors will know more when he wakes up. My mom got to talk to him before they sedated him and she said the doctors seem very positive at this point. Brenham thanks all of you for your prayers, it's times like these that make us remember football is just a game. God Bless
