Brenham's (WR/S) Justin Davis is in ICU in Bryan after suffering from a stroke yesterday.  He had surgery this morning, but it didn't seem to help.  They will perform another surgery soon.

He complained to coach West of a head ache 30 mins after practice.  The doctors said it wasn't football related.  He also said chances of it happening to a 17 year old are 1 in 1,000,000.

He was one off our best players.  A D1 recruit with an offer from Arizona State.  He was also being looked at by New Mexico State, Texas Tech & Utah.

To make it clear, it was not an aneurysm. His carotid artery burst in his neck, causing a clot in his brain which led to a stroke. He had surgery yesterday, and again this morning to relieve pressure off of his brain. He will now be sedated for at least 36 hrs and the doctors will know more when he wakes up. My mom got to talk to him before they sedated him and she said the doctors seem very positive at this point. Brenham thanks all of you for your prayers, it's times like these that make us remember football is just a game. God Bless
