BBfan061 Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 Its moved to evadale at 6.. hopefully it doesn't get canceled!!
OLDGREGG Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 Field looking good in Evadale. Not too wet at all. Lookin forward to a good scrimmage
Guest kountzemania Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 Kountze pretty much rolling, scored twice. Running and passing well
Guest kountzemania Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 Kountze now on field with defense and its fast and brutal...Kountze defense is a unit fast to the ball and swarm. Not over doing it evadable has not made 15 yards in as many plays
BBfan061 Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 Kountze was owing evadale and sabine pass... then the game situation started and it was like a different kountze was out there...oh and graylond arnold better be the choice for starting QB
Guest kountzemania Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 Its just rythem...inaddition anit winded due to multiple first team reps
OLDGREGG Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 The offensive issues for ktz had a lot to do with of quarterbacks switching out every series. I think coaches just trying to figure out the best fit. When Arnold was in Kountze was almost unstoppable. I'm sure he will be the starter next week against shepherd.
AggiesAreWe Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 I kept stats for the live quarter sessions. I will post them soon.Evadale did quite well in the live portion of the scrimmage.
Guest kountzemania Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 From what I understood evadable coaches did not want Kountze fresh, they wanted controlled we played against both evadable and sabine pass, then went game condition. Kountze was on the field twice as long both direction as evadale. If that's an excuse than I guess time will tell next week and yes I agree about arnold as well, also goes back to rythem issue. During game condition Kountze never had complete 1st off. Or def. In the game.

AggiesAreWe Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 Here are the live quarter stats:1st Quarter Sabine Pass Kountze 2nd Teamrushing 7/-3 yards 4/42 yards TDpassing 1-2- 1 yard 2-2- -1 yardtotal 9/ -2 yards 6/ 41 yardsFD 0 32nd & 3rd Quarters Evadale Kountze 1st Teamrushing 12/111 yards TD 11/108 yardspassing 2-3- 14 yards TD 1-4- 4 yards TDtotal 15/ 125 yards 15/ 112 yardsFD 5 4The quarters were 8 minute continuous running clock.Evadale played very well in the live portion of the scrimmage. Sabine Pass I am afraid will have a very long season.Kountze has improved, but they will not beat the likes of East Chambers, Newton, Kirbyville and Woodville.
Guest kountzemania Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 Once again Kountze was on the field continuously against two teams and when Kountze was fresh defensively against evadale they failed to get more than one first down and offensive side of the ball Kountze did what they wanted. An hour and 15 min later after Kountze had played six quarters of football and game condition started, Kountze was tired and evadale, who had played half as much still had gas in the tank. Kountze will continue to get it together and then we will see. Mark my words they are the dark horse this year. I know here it comes all the folks on here asking if I am delusional...time will tell.
OLDGREGG Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 Also kountze had a few td's and long plays called back because of penalties. Those hurt a little bit. They will be fine. Can't wait for next Friday night!
sport1971 Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 I think Kountze will be a hard team to beat. I saw them destroy Evadale Offense...1st team on 1st team Evadale did not get a first down. Then when they switched...Kountze was unstopable. Now I do agree with those above who said Kountze seemed flat in game condition, but it is very true that Kountze had no rest. Kountze stayed on the field the entire night as Evadale had a tremendous break...like a full 1/2 hour to get their legs under them before game condition. and even then Kountze was strong. To top it off Kountze did not have all their number ones in at the same time on O or D. Next week will be a great gauge for Kountze as they will be fresh in game condition. We will also be able to work on cutting down the metal errors ie...penalties...cost three touchdowns to be called back. That gets me on another kick maybe a ref out there can answer this...why do officials call a penalty on a guy like holding that occurs 15 yards away from the QB at the moment the QB releases the ball. The infraction was a non-factor...no chance of impacting the play or outcome??? I mean rules are rules but just saying
bulldogs1990 Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 Holding is holding no matter where you at on the field
sport1971 Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 I know holding is holding...just sucks when that is the situation, but your right...just thought I would vent.
OLDGREGG Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 Well one of those refs was brand new and he was gonna call everything he saw anyway. I believe he may have thrown the only flag on every holding call lol
BBfan061 Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 You gotta think running 3 quarterbacks was hurting the rhythm.. but hopefully they realize it will have to be the Arnold kid
Eazy Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 Anybody have an opinion on how Kountze will do against 3A Shepherd next week? Seems like it should be a close game.
BBfan061 Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 I think kountze will win by at least two scores
Howard Posted August 26, 2012 Report Posted August 26, 2012 Kountze is headed for trouble...sorry, but the district they are in is just too tough IMO
BBfan061 Posted August 26, 2012 Report Posted August 26, 2012 Kountze isnt the worst in the district.. i can promise you
