Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 im not that worried bout football right now, new model has Lake Charles/Cameron in the cone now. Im not liking this at all. >:(
pngfan66 Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 All the models differ everywhere. Weather channel says New Orleans still. I think they want it to go there for news reasons. Seems like every update it moves further west. Sabine Pass is now under Tropical Storm alert. Who knows. If it comes more west at least we won't be on the dirty side of the storm. Maybe some winds or rain. I think it does not have enough time to move this far west. Although at 5 this morning they said once it hits land it could skip along the coast westward some. Lots of speculation. But I think it will stay east of us.
kcat-fan Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 The media is feeding on the fact it could hit NO on Katrina's anniv.... ha ha...pathetic
pngfan66 Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 Per Bostwick this is gonna stay way to our east with no chance of it coming here.So bring on some Friday nite lights !
kcat-fan Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 Some teams play Thur. night like Kville/Clev. @ LAMAR....might have some unfavorable weather...who knows?
liltex Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 If the track keeps NO the bullseye & you're off,go to the coast and go fishing. They will turn on & feed w/aggression.No chit best time to load up ;)
liltex Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 Wondering how all the folk that hocked/sold their Fema generators feel right now?I know we'll be taken care of right?Sike, did you make a drive around our area 1-2 yrs after Ike.Houses everywhere roofs looked like they supported the Ant Mound ::) >:( ;) :o
NDNation Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 Accuweather which also has info from National Hurricane Center, still saying New Orleans...but we will get some Tropical Storm conditions. http://www.accuweather.com/en/hurricane/atlantic/isaac-2012
Guest ECBucFan Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 Even if that is true, by Friday PM the remnants of the storm will be up in Missouri. I think FN football will be OK. 8)

JohnSmith Posted August 28, 2012 Report Posted August 28, 2012 Another good web site for a more local beaumont area is " golden triangle weather", this has alot more information than most of regular news stations that want to use scare tac tic reporting for their ratings.
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted August 28, 2012 Report Posted August 28, 2012 i sure hope these New Orleans evacuees dont get stupid around here in PA the next couple of days. I remember my mother telling me some stories about how it was around here when Gustav hit there and they all came here and to Houston.
Guest ECBucFan Posted August 28, 2012 Report Posted August 28, 2012 Bostwick just said FNF would be just fine. No rain, maybe a light breeze. 8)

Ford Park was a madhouse.
Guest ECBucFan Posted August 28, 2012 Report Posted August 28, 2012 Then they had a "Katrina combine" in the Astrodome parking lot! A few of em got busted, too. :o
