7.Darion Gray 5-10 165 Hargrave HS, (Huffman, TX)

"Gray is the consummate scat back, this jitter bug has great speed, and cut-back ability. Gray is considered one of the premiere backs in Texas, but because he is small, not considered an all-around running back. He can definitely be a major asset on the next level on third downs. He was the first starting freshman running back in Huffman's school history. He could also move up in our rankings with an outstanding season. He looks like a faster version of Richard Murphy at the same stage of their respective careers".

They do a really good job of getting him the ball in different ways. Last year he had 155 combined touches between rushing and receiving.

Wouldn't say elite, very good yes, but is he getting any D1 looks? If townley ever went down could he take over a ball game by himself? Elite talent is very few and far between, he is very good don't get me wrong but he's not on some others level.

Yeah the 7th ranked running back in the 2014 class wouldn't be elite over there in Beaumont ::).

And if they are not in Rivals they are not allowed to play in college. And Rivals always has every Jr listed at the beginning of the season. And Rivals never adds players later in the year.

I was just a little surprised that a university as big as LSU noticed this kid but Rivals doesn't have anything on him at all. Wow.
