Just back from Da Butch.  After the kick off return by Ozen, it looked like both Offenses were not going to get in gear.  Then the game really opened up and actually was explosive.  Ozen exposed a couple of weak spots in our secondary which was open field tackling and benefited on this.  WB also found a few things that worked and kept coming back.  It did not take long to determine that the Victory was going to the team that had the ball last.

Hats off to both teams that played with heart and never quit.  Ozen did deserve this win. 

As a Brook fan, I hope to see the coaching staff adjust to the 5A level.  My observation is that adjustments are made throughout the game and this can't happen when the offense is watching their defense play.  Good teams have adjustment meetings at the bench.  Many times I observed all the staff and players on the sidelines facing the field after a three and out.  The whole program is new to both the staff and players and I am sure they will adjust. 
The coaches did seem to be good with the players and I wish them all well.  It is time for them to do some soul searching, character building, and see some leaders step up. 

BTW--this is 5A and there is a press box upstairs--use it and see where there is exposure.  ;D

It's time to pack up and call it quits on the season. The last time we lost to Ozen,w e didn't win a single game if I'm not mistaken. Now that Stump and most of the talent is gone, PNG and Nederland iare going to want to play again.

Hervey is a beast. I'm not real big on 5A since we in the measly 4A but I wouldn't give up just yet.

Everyone was worried and crying :'( about Trey Green being gone ::), but Jordan Ozen, once he settled down was awesome!! He threw I think like 3 td passes and had to have close to 300yds passing. Not sure till stats come out tomorrow but to score 33pts in week zero against a bigger 5A school is not too shabby if you ask me. Game also kinda reminded me of the BH game last year. They were determined to stop Jacobi Jones from running and didn't realize Ozen is loaded with wr's and Mr. Jones is also one of them!!! He had almost 200yds receiving!!!!:o :o :o WE ARE PICKING UP WHERE WE LEFT OFF LAST YEAR!!!!!!! 1 down...15 to go.

One screen pass and several quick shots to the slot position.  Rather than say missed tackles it was more like air tackles.  #1 and #2 juked the Bruins out of their jocks.  Then the rest was all speed.  BISD could advertise on the lil varments butts cause thats all they could see.

Congrats Ozen on a great game from a 20-4A team. A couple of more breaks gone the right way for Central and 20-4A would have went 2-0 against 21-5a. Not a good week for 21-5a on this end.

West Brook has been killed by the Admin. at BISD and the school board. It started after the 5-2 vote and continues. Why do you think Stump, half the Administration and coaches from WB left?  BTW, Atascocita beat Dobie 31-6.

Wow... Congrads Coach Nelson. I guess some off you "West Brook" fans are getting what you asked for(no Stump, he was a horrible coach, even if he won)and Atascacita is getting what they asked for ( Stumps a winner) it's a win win situation for both sides. Except for in Brooks case, their win will not be showing in their record.

Please explain.  And quit trying to justify WB getting sorry on the school board.  Maybe Ozen is that much better and Stump whined his way into 2-8/1-9 seasons as long as he's @Atascosita....
