Alpha Wolf Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 I didn't witness it but anybody that can throw for over 400 yards on a 5A defense, has my vote. Ozens QB.

Just wondering if Jones created a lot of these yards by making WB's D miss? 415 yards on 17 completions tells me there were a lot of big plays.

FARVA Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 Donelle Baldwin #4couple for cleveland 2high ints, 1 fumble recovery, 6 tackles and win over the wildcats
justsaying Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 EC Glen Roberts. 17 carries for 218 yards 2 TDs
NDOMAKONG Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 D Washington Nederland, time will prove him to be the best and most dominant force on defense in se Texas. Mark it down. Sick thing is, there are two others who could lay the same claim, and the fourth would star on EVERY d line in se Texas. That's how good that d line is. Reap it.

Mostly on 3rd and longs I might add. They ate us up with their speed and big plays. Caught us in a couple jail break blitzes also.
IDidntKno Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 Cleveland Safety DB #4: Donnell "Deon" Baldwin - 2 interceptions, 1 fumble recovery & 6 tackles Should be Defensive Player of the week, the kid deserve it. A really hard worker.
mytwocents-28 Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 Vidor defense hands down. I mean holding a team to 28 total yards is amazing to say the least.
phunter308 Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 28 yards was the official total or Orange County Leader reports. That is awesome. Sound like Sept 28 could be Defensive game of the year.
hjhawks Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 From Hardin Jefferson.....Andrew Martel - Saftey 13 tackles, 1 interception, 2 fumble recoveries - hurdled a standing defender on interception return..

Puma42 Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 I have much respect for Vidor, and I'm not trying to disrespect to Vidor by saying this. But you could make a strong case of Nederland's D being stronger this week than Vidor's D just based on the caliber of offenses. I don't know much about Santa Fe, but from what I heard they were pretty horrible. Just based on that I'd say Big Ned's D was stronger cause Crosby's offense was much better than Santa Fe's (based on what I heard). If I'm wrong, someone please correct me. Sept. 28th will be one of the best games of the year in SETX, no doubt about it.

Nederland defense did a great job but crosby still had 159 yards and 1 touchdown.
