So does the Bayou Bowl between Bridge City and Orangefield and the Orange Bowl between LC-M and WO-S.What other local games actually awards a trophy for the winning team?Not looking for names of particular games like MCM (Ned vs. PNG) or Village Creek Classic (Lumberton vs. Silsbee). Looking for games that have trophies awarded here locally.Thanks

PN-G bamatex Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 I don't know if it counts as a trophy or not, but I remember something about a football painted purple and white on one side and black and gold on the other that changes hands between PN-G and Nederland after MCM. I have no idea how old it is or how long that exchange has taken place. I don't think it's a very public thing, just something the coaches exchange privately after the game.There's also a belt that someone tried to start exchanging between the two teams I believe in 2009. I know it was still around in 2010, but I don't remember anything being mentioned about it last year.
